Apr. 14th, 2006 10:53 amI've decided that waiting for a company to call back can be equated to being a lovelorn teenager again.
You wait and wait and there's no reply, and you worry you've said something or done something that unimpressed them, and as a result you've botched the job. Check your email every five minutes to see if they've written you back. You contact them again and still there's no reply and as a result you begin to feel like you're being an annoying stalker.
In the meantime they're probably wondering whether or not they should cut their toenails.
