the little black book.
Aug. 14th, 2006 05:06 pmUgh. I feel kinda sick. I start to get physically ill when I get upset.
Anyway, the following is not what's making me upset enough to feel ill, but I'll talk about it anyway. I'm gonna have to stock up on Moleskine notebooks soon. Why? Well they are now made in China. The quality has gone downhill (not to mention I make it a point not to buy anything from China -which is damn near impossible nowadays- because of their occupation of Tibet.)Nothing against the Chinese, just the people in power there, making a killing off sweatshop workers.
Anyway, Moleskine was always a europeon made product, and since switching to the chinese factories, the books have become flimsy, with uneven pages and dry looking covers. Bleh. I'm currently typing up a letter to Modoemodo to complain.
In the meantime, I'm going to check the back of the next moleskine I purchase for the words "Made in China."

Lottie-thank you for the Tori CD! The bit where she slagged off Morrissey was hilarious!
Also, there will be art soon. I'm still feverishly working on Old Harry's Game.
