many dead things

[livejournal.com profile] velvetfur and I saw this exhibition today in an art gallery called Superette just off Brick Lane. We actually found it by accident and boy are we glad we did. We were going to see a student show (which Time Out had listed as on today, but it actually isn't on until next week.) Anyway, we found the leafleft for Many Dead Things, The Specimens of Alex CF at a stand in the Truman Brewery.

This guy is amazing! He creates intricate sculptures. It feels like you're walking around a museum filled with cryptozoological specimens including demons, dragons, vampires and werewolves.

You can view the specimens on his website, but I urge you to see it in person if you can. It's only on until June 2nd! Fantastic, magical and creepy!
